The university is ranked in the 1201–1400 band of the QS World University Rankings and is the country’s leading institution in agriculture, veterinary science, and agrotechnology. Approximately 10,000–11,000 students are enrolled, and more than 130 educational programmes (bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral) are offered. It operates with 9 faculties and research institutes.
