Q University was founded in 1991 and is the first private university established in independent Kazakhstan. It is located in the center of Almaty, on Baizakova Street. Its strongest fields include Psychology, Law, Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, and Journalism. For international students, annual tuition is approximately 1,800–2,000 USD for bachelor’s programs and 2,200–2,300 USD for master’s programs. A 30% deposit of the annual fee is required before enrollment. Teaching is mainly conducted in Russian and Kazakh, with some programs available in English.
